My career in art began in Fashion design. I loved every aspect of it for 15 years and I never would have imagined that I would one day switch gears to become a muralist.
In 2014, my youngest son Joey was born with a rare epileptic syndrome, we spent alot of our time in and out of the hospital. I wanted to create a space in our home that felt like a whimsical baby room and bring something colorful and enchanting to Joeys eyes. His big brother John helped me paint Joey's room and then he wanted a mural in his room too. The look on John’s face and the amazement in his eyes when he saw his own superhero room made me realize that this is truly what I was meant to do. I was inspired by my children to create Sabrinas murals.
Since I began, I have had the joy of transforming everything from children’s bedrooms, businesses and Pediatric hospitals. Sadly, my sweet baby Joey has since passed from his battle with Ohtahara Syndrome but has become an inspiration to create murals and bring smiles to everyone. He is truly a part of every mural I create. Its been an extremely inspiring journey.
